Computer Specs:
1080 ti Graphics Card
i7 8700k processor
16 GB of Ram
Running on a Windows 10

I don't understand all my games are capped at 72 frames
It only dip lower than 72 frames when I play games a 4k to 50-60 at most...

Before I could run let say fortnite at 150-180 fps on (1920-1080)

Now it's stuck at 72fps

Before I could run Grand Theft Auto V 80-105 fps on (1440-2560)

And it's also stuck at 72fps

Even benchmarker tester is also now is stuck at 72fps the highest at could go...

Is there any way this could be fix?

I've tried to reset my Nvidia Gforce Setting if that did anything yet it didn't.

Im running on a Monitor LG 4k...

Lowered the resoulution to 1440 x 2560

Can be because Geforce experience assumes that VSync offers the best 'gaming experience' which can be true for some games, but not in general. Especially in shooters I also prefer the full possible framerate to ensure smooth gameplay.

Well... I just found the source of problem... It was the Gforce Experience and I realized before I had installed it... It was normal but i didn't know how to turn the cap off so I just uninstalled it... And did some testing and it was back to normal!

Haha I remember something like that happening to me. I was playing an MMO and was goofing around in display settings and accidentally clicked on the limit FPS option and it set to something like 8. "Hey guys I gotta stop for a min, my game performance just went way down!"
