POST screen freezes at "USB mass storage devices found and configured."

Hello, I don't know how it happened, but when my Windows froze I performed the hard reset (usual stuff) and when I started the computer again it couldn't go any further, but line "00 USB mass storage devices found and configured." Sometimes after consequent hard resets it could pass POST and boot my OS, but at some point when I was entering a password it froze again.

If I'll press f8 or del before it prints that line I'll get the response. And so I've tried to change different options in BIOS which didn't help. I could load bootable XP from a disc, however, it didn't freeze, and save all my data. Plus, I noticed that I can bypass this freeze by pressing f8 (CD boots before HDD in BIOS settings), load from CD and pick an option to boot from HDD (in bootCD's interface) so that I could load my OS. Windows prompted me then how to load it and I have chosen safe mode, in which, surprisingly, it worked fine and didn't die!

Also, in this "dead" state my USB keyboard doesn't work while my ODD does. I am very puzzled and don't know what to do. Could you help me?
