Hi! I have recently bought and built a new pc. The only problem is that the motherboard won't detect the gpu. all drivers are updated, but i still can't find the gpu, and the bios tells me that i have no gpu in the PCIe slot, even though i have put it in correctly. the pc will only run the integrated gpu in the i7.

MSI z370 gaming pro carbon
i7 8700k
asus 1060 dual oc 6gb
2x16 corsair dominator 3000mhz
WD 2T black
hyperx ssd 480GB
corsair rm850x

i do not have another system to test the gpu in. have tested another graphics card, same problem with that one. i am starting to believe it is a defect in the mobo since it would not detect any gpu in any slot.
