Hey all,

I am planning on switching from my current iPhone 6S to a shiny new Galaxy S9, and I have got a few questions that can hopefully be answered by this great community:

1) When and where should I get the phone? (My carrier is Verizon by the way). And by 'where' I mean what store should I get it from (Samsung's website, Verizon, etc.)? Are there any good deals going on right now?

2) Should I pay the full price of it or pay monthly?

3) S9 or S9+?

Thank you for any and all responses!

I have an S9, but am not from the US. However, I have some points.

1. I visited the US in 2015 and bought an S5 from at&t on Amazon. Phone was good, but the bloatware from at&t was a lot, but it could be removed. I would say go with the Samsung store directly just to avoid this bloatware and keep the original brand. Plus, my S9 came with a free Samsung Concierge Service, which is really helpful for me.

2. Depends. If monthly works out to be cheaper (I assume you mean a plan) then go for it. I paid mine in full.

3. Do you need two cameras? S9 is more than enough for me and fits like a glove in my pockets. S9+ is bigger and is a bit of an issue, but has 2 gigs more of RAM and another camera. That said, the S9 camera is still plenty and majority of the people will find it more than enough.
