I still don't understand how an apu uses Memory Size, Memory Type, Memory Bus, Bandwidth and it is all system dependent compared to a dedicated graphics card like the r7 260x.

I found a great deal for the 260x 1gb and was wondering does video memory size matter when comparing a 2200g with 2000mhz clock speed paired with ddr4 3000mhz ram to the r7 260x 1gb?

The memory size, type, bus, and bandwidth are all system dependent and come from the RAM being allocated and used, right? Does that mean if you had 8gb 3000mhz dual-channel memory it would have 8gb of video memory? I'm confused y'all please help.

Solution
The 2200 & 2400g can use up to 2gb of ram for video memory .

This is an automatic case scenario.

Obviously when that happens it takes useable system memory down to 6gb.

Irregardless a 1gb model video card is not worth buying now days.

The integrated graphics & the 260x are going to perform about the same with 3000kHz ram installed.
