Hi...
I recently bought a refurbished PC and added a GT 1030 low profile to it.
Specs:
i7-3770
8gb ram ddr3
gt 1030 2gb low profile
128ssd

PC Model: https://www.cnet.com/products/dell-optiplex-9010-core-i7-3770-3-4-ghz-monitor-none-series/specs/
I installed game like fortnite and was getting around 15 fps.
I also tried other games and every game was under 30 fps.

I have no idea what's going on, the games aren't using my integrated graphics, i can confirm that. I installed the gt 1030 properly as well.

Please help!

What resolution are you playing at? And what other games?

It's an okay system. Pretty dated now, but should be capable for low-med gaming. The GT1030 wasn't a great choice there, something like a 1050ti/1060 would be a much more balanced GPU to put in there and would allow you to bump resolution and settings. The I7 3770 is still a decent CPU

If you are gaming on 1080p @60hz, and with the GT1030 you are gonna have issues. You may need to dial back settings to low, see if FPS pick up. If so, your just setting in game settings too high. MOnitor your system with HwMon while gaming, so we can see all your usage.

You could also try re-installing the driver for the GPU, and/or make sure the nvidia profiles are removed too, so the driver...

Ans lastly, if you use Geforce Experience. Don't it's a piece of junk, and has a way of 'optimizing' games badly.

GT 1030 is not that capable gpu. Don't expect too much from it.

You paired a quite powerful CPU with very weak GPU. And the slow GPU is probably the main issue here. Try lowering the resolution or reducing level of details. This GPU is barely enough for low details @ 1080p, and even then it will struggle with some games.

My local tech store said they'd have it in stock yesterday. When I went to purchase, they said they have still haven't got stock so I ended up buying this. They have refund policy so I can take it back anytime.

Even if I had got the GTX 1050. I don't see how this problem doesn't perish... Surely the gt 1030 can run Warcraft 3 fine

1030 is almost the same as HD 4890
And you probably running different directX,

Did you remove the old amd driver and install the Nvidia driver?

From a quick read around WOW III uses the cpu a lot for gfx; and I suspect from the age that it is single threaded; so it will be similar to LOTRO; the gfx is pretty superfluous beyond a fairly basic spec, the single thread cpu performance is the limiting factor.

I would also check you dont have a frame rate setting in the cards software suite that is stopping the older game from going a bit faster.

I would also check that the on board gfx is switched off in the BIOS; most boards do this as soon as a PCIE card is detected, but I have come across a couple of DELL boards that didnt; and having both running would cripple the higher powered card.

Finally, low profile gfx cards are often de-tuned*, as they are meant for SFF cases where the heat from a gfx card at full bore would overwhelm the cooling system.
