Looking for Graphic Card Support

Hi, I was on the market trying to find a used gaming system. but instead i found a peculiar desktop configuration. Core i7-4790K, 16GB DDR3 Memory, coupled to a 120gb SSD. All this was fine but the Motherboard was the one in question. There was no GPU installed on it and it was an MSI B85M-G43 base. The whole setup is on sale for about 300$. My question is, what GPUs could i fit onto the Motherboard? And also, how could i upgrade/make the whole setup faster? Finally, should i just save my time and go for a better spec?

You can add any GPU in, as long as you have a good PSU to handle the GPU. If you add the gtx1080 + a good 550W PSU at least, then you will be fine for all the gmaes. Of couse, if you have budget, then buy the over $1000 GPU too.

The gtx980ti=gtx1070 so you are good to go.
