For the past year, my ASUS USB-AC56 adapter has been giving me very poor internet speeds, particularly download speeds. Previously, I could get 100+ mbps for both download and upload speed, but I can only get 2-10 mbps download speeds and 50 mpbs upload speed now. At first i thought this was the fault of the adapter, so i bought a TP-Link Archer T9UH, but this gave me the exact same speeds. Swapping to another adapter i had lying around, the TP-Link Archer T2U, strangely gave me the more typically expected speeds of 150 mpbs both up and down.
Given this, does anyone have any potential fixes for these higher end adapters performing so much more poorly than the lower end one?
