Hey guys ! , thank you first of all for helping me out .

I want to buy a pc , never had a pc before so im a total noob . I need a pc for 1080p gaming , mostly league of legends . No shooting games since I have my ps4 for that . I also want to stream and recorde for YouTube .
I have two options in mind first is this

https://www.bestbuy.com//site/cyberpowerpc-battlebox-essential-desktop-amd-ryzen-5-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-120gb-ssd-1tb-hard-drive-black/5848614.p?skuId=5848614

And second is this
https://www.bestbuy.com//site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-master-desktop-amd-ryzen-5-series-8gb-memory-amd-radeon-rx-580-xtr-1tb-hard-drive-black/6225214.p?skuId=6225214

So which one will be better for me ? Thank you big time .

Oh my monitor is dell , it support free synch and it’s 1080p .

Either will serve you well for gaming and 1080p video editing. I would argue that the RX 580 gives you more options for streaming, but that SSD and RAM in the system with the 1060 makes it a much more appealing build. If you aren't budget limited go for the one with the GTX 1060. You'll have a better time with it over all.

Hi.

Second option seems a better one. CPU is the same, but you pay less 200 dollars for not having SSD and Rx 580 instead of 1060, but they are practically the same.

Also, if your monitor supports free sync, it's suitable to AMD GPU, not NVIDIA

EDIT: you get less ram too, but it's plenty for gaming.

You see, I agree with you... but the streaming and video editing make me think that he will benefit from the more RAM and the SSD is just REALLY nice to have, so I picked the other one. The difference is really the RAM for me. If he could get option 2, spend another $120 or so to drop another kit of RAM in there, I'd pick #2 in a heartbeat... but out of the box config, option 1 is just better.

I totally understand but ima get paid on Friday and I think the sale for the 1060 will go back to 1136$ without tax and with tax is gamma be like 1230$

So will it be worth it

If you get it before it goes off sale, then yes, it is a good deal. After that sale price ends it isn't very good value.

Honestly, if you are good with upgrading your PC as you go, I'd say save some dollars and get the one with the RX 580, then add some RAM and an SSD as funds become available.

If you just want an out of the box and good build, go for the one with the 1060. The sale price is pretty reasonable, especially when compared with full price.

Gosh... I forgot how much they mark these pre-built systems up at Best Buy. The cost of the upgraded RAM and the SSD is about $200... and you say the $999 is the sale price!?

Ok, the only question you need to ask yourself is if you are ok with installing RAM on your own. If you are, then go with the RX 580 system and upgrade it later if you feel you need it.

If you aren't ok with adding RAM, get the system with the 1060, but only if it is on sale. At its normal price, don't get it. It isn't worth the extra money.

The only difference here is the extra RAM and the SSD. Both of which you could buy upgrades for the less expensive system and get them within the price difference. You can easily get 8GB more RAM and an SSD for $200. The RX 580 and GTX 1060 are VERY close in performance to each other. At $200 difference the SSD and RAM are worth it. If the price difference is more than $250 between these two systems, it isn't worth it to get the more expensive one.

Hope that helps.

It's really not that hard, just do some reading and watching videos and you can educate yourself more on the subject. Do what most of us here have done - start small and work your way up. You don't dive into the deep end head first on your first try. And you don't open the motherboard. You open the case that the motherboard is contained in.
