Router lan problem

I lose internet access from time to time, but only through cable, wifi always works. When the cabled internet is down I can still access the router through its IP in browser, but I know the router got internet access since wifi will always be working at this time. Not DNS or the cable itself thats the problem. The router is a modem and router in one by Sagemcom custom made for my ISP "get".

Furthermore I can add that during this time I cannot access other devices on my network through the lan port. So no internet, no lan, but can access the router, how is this possible?

Hope anyone can help me since it's not possible for me to change router and ISP says nothing its wrong with it, must be my computer.

So when this event occurs w/ the internet, you can ping the router's LAN IP address (e.g., ping 192.168.1.1), but you can't ping *any* other devices on the LAN (e.g., ping 192.168.1.100)??

Does access to the rest of the LAN return once the internet access returns?

Btw, did you try other LAN ports on the Sagemcom device?
