I have a very limited budget and in my country the prices are high for PSUs and not a lot of options to choose from too (the cheapest available 80+ bronze goes for around 100$ :() .

I have three options, they are:
-XIGMATEK X-Calibre 600W 80+
-Cooler Master Elite V2 - 550W
-Thermaltake Smart 500W 80+
Which one will be the most efficient and last longer

I'm planning to get an intel i5 8400 on a b360 MOBO with gtx 1060 oc and 8Gb of ram

Where are you located, specifically?

Of the options presented, none of them are very good.
I'd be inclined to lean towards the Elite V2 as it's [strike]better[/strike] slightly less horrible than the others

FWIW, that Xigmatex X-Calibre is not 80+ rated at all.

On their website, they claim
115/230V input with greater than 80% efficiency under typical loads

That's not how 80+ works. "typical" doesn't come into it. It must be 80%+ (hence the name!) under ALL loads.

Which country are you in and what is your budget? Ill link you a good power supply. All of the ones you mentioned above are not great quality Power Supplies. All of them have low quality components. The Elite V2 is the best out of those but its still not a great one. As Barty said, 80+ efficiency rating does not reflect upon the quality of the PSU.

The Elite V2 is 40A on the 12V, so is more of a ~480W unit.

The Smart is only 35A on the 12V = 420W.

Neither are what they claim to be

Nor is the X-Calibre, but it's worse! Dual 22A 12V rails, but the max combined output is 36A. So that "600W" unit is more akin to a 400W PSU than it is to a 600W

My budget is around 1000$ but like I said, the prices here are high because of taxes etc.
-for example the i5 8400 is around 245$

I have an older Seasonic M12-II 520w (old enough that it's the semi not full modular version) that's almost 6 years old powering an OC i5-3570k and an OC gtx660ti, and its still workin like it was brand new. For their generation, those Seasonic psus were the standard to beat, and not many did successfully.

It is better than the last three, though still not good. You should be able to find a much better power supply for a similar price of the Seasonic. Which retailer/s are you purchasing from?

Try look for a Xilence Performance A+, Antec VPF, CoolerMaster GM, CoolerMaster Masterwatt (not lite, not MWE), Corsair CX or CXM (grey label), FSP Hexa 85+ or be Quiet Pure Power 10, as a start.
