Hello,
Can someone explain to me what is going on with my AIO Windows device?
It is a tab with that magnetic keyboard that can be removed. Medion Akoya with Win8 (factory)
I lost the keyboard but that's not the problem.
I wanted Kali linux on it. So i Installed it somehow. But i could not get the touchscreenand sound working so i wanted to go back to Windows. But i now don't have them on Windows 10 either... Not even in Device manager i can't find a device for Touch input, sound device... And also my Power, volume and Windows buttons don't work.
The strange thing is that buttons and touch input are working while in BIOS. But after booting they stop working.
I did mingle in BIOS to get Kali linux up and runing. But then i had a keyboard. And i need it for BIOS...
I forgot what i wanted to ask...

Solution

Windows update only does the drivers that Microsoft has listed, it is often not the correct drivers, just usable ones that are better than nothing. Many people think that running the MS driver search will find the drivers, that is often no the case, it only searches the drivers from MS server.

Can't find them from their website. Tried search by model and by S/N but no luck. But it did download them via Windows update before when i do a clean install.

I think my installation is corrupted. Everything works on Linux i booted last night
