Hi, my community are looking into these two providers potentially coming to the area and asked me to provide a simple comparison so we can decide together which is best.

From their websites I have this, can anyone expand on this list?

Sounds like Truespeed far superior?

Truespeed
Monthly: £47.50 Installation: Free
Home 200mbps Guaranteed all T/Cs dont explain how this works
18 month contract
Aim to be spring 2019 maybe longer, will know if 18% becomes 30%
Active Ethernet: dedicated connection, true fibre, each have own connection, better future proofing
Only 200 or 250mbps options available, no 1GB?

Gigaclear
Installation £230+ according to distance from fibre pot
15 month contract
50 Monthly: £41.30
100 Monthly: £46.85
200 Monthly: £54.30
1000 Monthly: £76.60
GPON: Users largely share a single fibre connection (2.5Gbps with upto 128 other users)
So connection limited by others using the line

Given that info, there is no way we out here can provide any info.

How many users? 10 or 100,000?
What technology? DSL, cable, fiber, other?
Pricing?
SLA?

Have them each provide a proposal. Choose what works for your community.

EDIT:
now that you've provided some detail....on the face of it, the Truespeed looks to be better.
Be sure to ask lots of questions, and read (with your lawyers) everything.
