Hey! I built this computer a while ago, but haven't gotten dual channel memory to work yet unfortunately, so I've been using the two sticks in single channel (hope that's the right name)..

Motherboard: Asus - Prime Z370-A
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000
CPU: i5 8600k (not OC'd)
SSD: Crucial BX200

According to the manual, I need to insert one stick in A2, and one in B2, which I tried. The orange 'RAM' led will start blinking, and after like 30 seconds it will continuously light up. Sometimes it will very shortly blink the red cpu led as well (like every 15 seconds).

Having one stick in A2 works, giving me 8gb obviously, and having 1 stick in A2 and one in A1 work occasionally (rebooting the pc a few times makes the orange led disappear and the pc boot. It will then keep working until I remove either of the sticks. This is what I've been using lately).

- I've had XMP enabled & disabled in the BIOS, neither seems to work.
- I've tried holding the MemOK button until it should start flashing (according to the motherboard manual), but this just shuts down and boots the pc repetitively until i stop pressing it.

I'd really love a solution. Thanks a bunch.

The ram came in a kit. The model number is indeed listed in the motherboards QVL list. They are both relatively popular products (motherboard and RAM).
I mean that the RAM is on this list: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-Z370-A/HelpDesk_QVL/
