Running out of space on hard drive

Hello, I have a Samsung SSD 840 EVO - 500GB. Recently, I have noticed that I am running low on hard drive space. I noticed that of my 500GB, 207GB is unallocated.

After reading through some of the threads, I see recommendations to delete the volume shadow files or to create a new volume or perhaps to merge my existing c: drive with some of the unallocated space.

I'm not really sure how to proceed but my I don't want to run out of storage space. I didn't find much help on the Samsung site as my particular SSD is no longer supported.

Can someone help?

Thanks,

I take it you need to add volume to the storage on your C: drive. Just in case you do not know how, to do this you go to disk management, then proceed to click on the C: drive in there, and click extend volume. Select the amount of volume you would like to add to the C: drive, and if you plan to save some of this unallocated space for whatever reason then do whatever.

Thanks, I just tried that an don't have the option to extend (the option is greyed out).

Another option I know of is downloading a program known as EaseUS you will be able to use to extend this partition. If you try this, tell me if it works.
