Ever since Ive switched to Spectrum, Ive had nothing but high latency issues. I cant play any FPS games because of rubber banding and am considering leaving Spectrum (But I really dont want to go through the hassle)

I have their 100/10 package and even though downloads are quick, my ping on Los Angeles Servers are anywhere from 30 to 150. Its never constant. Im not good with networking so I hope someone can help me here.

Is ping the only problem you are having? Are you still getting the 100/10 internet speeds?

Ping is a measurement of time that it takes for you to contact the server and for you to receive a message back from the server. It is measured in ms (milliseconds). If you still have the fast internet speeds, then the high ping issue is not speed related. You most likely have bad connections to a server.

I'd recommend calling up Spectrum Tech Support and talking to them, as I have no idea how broadband works within America. I'm Australian, and I'm connected on a fibre/copper network, and get between 8ms-15ms ping. I believe America uses all fibre cables, so I don't see how you could be getting high ping on a fibre-rich network.

Hope this...
