PC case vibration driving me crazy

So ever since I got my SilentiumPC Fera 3 HE1224 v2 cooler installed, It has emitted HIGHLY annoying vibration noise under stress.

I've done everything I can to stop the vibration. I even found out that the cooler was installed incorrectly, but when it was installed right, IT STILL VIBRATES.

Until, today, I found out that the vibration stops when I open the case or lift up my pc with my hands.
The cooler is actually hitting a RAM stick, but the cooler is a bit loose so I could move it until it didn't hit it anymore. No difference.

So applying a bit pressure to the case helps. Any tips on how I could make this sound from hell to stop for once and for all? Thanks in advance!

That looks to be a decent quality case. If issue goes away with the side panel removed, it points as that being the issue. Is it screwed in? Make sure none of the cables are hitting the panel that may be moved by a fan. You said the cooler itself is making the vibration, did you check that to see if it's actually moving when it's in use? Should not be. Fan may not be on properly, or it's not installed properly with the clamps.

Before I did anything else, I would tighten the cooler.

First of all, it shouldn't be loose and it is not going to cool well.

AND....I wouldn't be surprised if this solved your problem.

This doesn't matter. The thing is....if the cooler is loose....you have an excitation (the fan) and you get a big response because the cooler is allowed to move.

This mass of the cooler moving could be the source of your vibration.

Sounds like you have a bad one, with unbalanced blades, or bad bearings; the thing isnt even a high RPM model, so it should be whisper quiet even at full speed.

Short answer, buy a new cooler; preferably a decent brand.

In the short term, try blobs of bluetack on the case edges, where the side panels are; this should dampen the vibrations enough to stop the noise; push with a finger to find where the spots where the vibration feels worst, and put blobs of the bluetack there.
