I bought a pre-built about 2 years ago and yes i know that was a problem to begin with. But overtime i got smarting and realized the computer parts were pretty bad and the amount of money i paid i should have got better parts. I had a big problem on the first week and had to fix it for $200. This year i bought a new gpu(gtx 1060 6gb).

But now everyday i feel bad and regret buying it online because when i go into stores like micro center, i see all of the cool customizations and stuff i could have done on the inside to make it look cooler and perform better. I dont want to buy a new pc and cant get a new case obviously and dont want to just switch out all of the parts. I dont really know what my question is but maybe any suggestions in general?

Why can't you get a new case? If you're into RGB lighting and such, a new side-windowed case and a CPU heat-sink will definitely bring up the "cool factor"

My point is, if you can't replace your parts, at least dress them up a little to be worthy of a custom gaming rig. It's entirely up to you

I would think getting a new case would be difficult, having to take out all of the parts and put back in? But okay, thanks for the suggestion. I just mainly regret because i don't feel like spending money constantly to get new parts when i could have got good parts all in one and the look if i just built it.
