I built a desktop and I was trying to boot it up but it won’t go to bios and I am getting no signal through the mouse, keyboard, speakers and monitor. It turns on and runs for a few seconds then off again if I have the 4 pin ATX 12V connected to the power supply and doesn’t turn off at all if I don’t, but it still won’t boot BIOS. I have re done all the connections to the power supply and re tried and I have gotten nothing. I am planning on getting a new cr 2032 battery for my motherboard to see if that is the problem

Solution
Those specs are not compatible. You cannot run an 8100 on a H110.

The i3 8100 need a B360, H310, H370 or Z370 to run. While they are both the LGA 1151, the 8th gen series of processors are essentially LGA 1151v2, so need the B360, H310, H370 or Z370 motherboards to run.
