Guys if I was to buy a small form factor keyboard without the number pad, would I still be able to configure my razer Naga to operate as num1, num2, num3 etc instead of the normal 1, 2, 3 keys?

Yes.

Open your Razer macro software and unplug your keyboard. You can change what keypresses your mouse initiates regardless. Provided you can select those keys without having the keyboard. IE having drop down menu to select the desired key.
