I want to build a HTPC system so that I can bring PC gaming to my couch where it will be connected to my TV. I also want to be able to occasionally take my HTPC system with me as I travel and use it as a PC in the traditional sense and connect it to a monitor.
What type of case offers the best compromise between size and portability: cube ITX cases or 'HTPC' cases? Keep in mind the case should be able to fit inside my glass TV cabinet. Would a HTPC case (console-like) be awkward to use on a desk?
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
