Hi there gentlemen and lady,I want to build a cpu will this work.

Processor:AMD FX (fx-8320)AM3+ 3.50GHZ 16MB

RAM:G.SKILL TRIDENTZ RGB 8GB 3000MHZ

COOLER FAN:CORSAIR H55 LIQUID COOLER

MAIN BOARD:MSI A320M GAMING PRO

GRAPHIC CARD:SHAPPHIRE PLUSE RX550 4GB DDR5 128BIT

Storage:Western digital 1tb(caviar blue)

Power supply:cooler master 500w 80 plus

Solution
FX series dont work on AM4 motherboards, only AM3+, and also AM4 uses DDR4 rather than DDR3 which uses FX CPU,
if you are quite unsure and not techy, theres always pcpartpicker which can show compability.

Whats your budget btw?
Surley you can use R3 1200/R5 1400 or RG2200

No. The AMD FX CPU is not compatible with the A320 motherboard.

AMD FX series processors are old and outdated. Go with a Ryzen CPU instead. Ryzen is compatible with A320 motherboard. Ryzen is faster than FX.

B350 motherboard makes more sense because it doesn't cost much more and allows for CPU and memory overclocking.

3000MHz memory requires to be overclocked to run at 3000MHz.

Forget the liquid cooler. It's a waste of money.

RX 550 is also kind of pointless when you can get a Ryzen 3 2200G/2400G for less money and have very close to the same gaming performance with the integrated Vega 8/11 graphics.

Only thing is any 300 series motherboard you buy will require a bios update with a compatible CPU installed to work with a 2nd-gen Ryzen CPU. CPU Boot kit can be requested from AMD. https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/2Gen-Ryzen-AM4-System-Bootup.aspx

SSD would be nice.

Get a better power supply.

Here is a list to give you an idea.
