Hi,

I am trying to overclock my 8600k, but this is the first time I'm overclocking, so I basically have 0
experience. My question is if a Corsair CX600m is good enough to overclock this CPU to 5 GHz. My pc specs are:
I5 8600k
Gigabyte z370 ultra gaming wifi
Dark Rock Pro 4
GTX 1060 6gb
GT 520 (using this as a vga display adapter)
2x 8gb ddr4 2666 mhz
250gb samsung 850 evo
2tb seagate barracuda
Corsair cx600m
4 120mm fans and 2 140mm fans

On outervision it tells me that the recommended psu wattage should be 500w, but is the cx600m good enough to push this cpu to 5ghz (or even 4.5ghz) quality wise?

And also, how many volts should I apply?

Thanks in advance :D

I would not do that. That old model (there are also new models called CXM, but they have white labels as opposed to your's green label) of PSU was considered low quality, and while it has definitely enough wattage to run your system, trying to OC with is is asking for trouble.
