just bought a sb6121 cable modem to use on comcast, got comcast to switch my cable modem to this new one, able to connect with network cable/lan to my laptop and access the internet, but when i connect my linksys wireless router, no internet at all. the wireless router is using dd-wrt.
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) std

i was using an older surfboard cable modem, which is a DOCSIS 2.0 Cable Modem. the old modem can connect to the wireless modem and all work fine.
this new cable modem is a DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem.

is there any comparability issue with dd-wrt and docsis 3.0?

DD-WRT is likely not the issue. Have you tried a different ethernet cable between the cable modem and the router? Are you certain you plugged the ethernet cable coming from the cable model, to the router, into the correct port?
