I recently upgraded to am3 with an am2 motherboard and now my display or USB still at work my fans click on in my lights turn on but my display and USB still don't work I've tried resetting the CMOS I even went back to my last CPU and it works but it was stuck on updating 32% so then I went back to my new processor and then it stopped working I tried going back to my last processor again and then that doesn't work at all either.

Idk what to do.....

Im so sad, please help me

The only thing i can think of is buying a new mobo, but i want to buy a am3 ddr3 motherboard, atx of course

Try this before throwing in the towel (assuming the original CPU is installed).

Power the system down. Remove all power sources (power cable, display cable, powered speakers). Press the power button (yes, I mean it) to discharge any residual power left in the system. Then, remove the motherboard battery and wait a minute or two. Reinstall the battery and reconnect everything.

The BIOS is now set to its default state. Try powering it on.
