Hello. I am currently having an issue where my Solid state drives and Hard drives will not format at all. Everytime I try to format them, the Process takes a really long time (even with quick format on) and then it will eventually just give me the "Windows could not format the drive" error. I have tried all of the following:
wiping the disk, making smaller partitions, formating with Diskpart in CMD, and using third party software like easeUS. I am only trying to install one drive at a time as well. As of Now I have 4 SSDs (120 GB each) and 2 HDDs (1TB each). one of the SSDs has win 10 installed and it works fine, but the other 5 drives are having these issues. Please any advice would be helpful.

Yes after posting this I realized that the aftermarket SATA cables that I had were the issue. I replaced them with the standard cables that the motherboard came with and everything formatted correctly. Thank you!
