I've had my Asus laptop for about 6 months, and once in a while it would crash and give me a very hard time about restarting, though eventually it always did. However, today, when I tried to open Outlook, it crashed, and I haven't been able to get it to recover. It just gets stuck on the loading screen.

I've had to restart it several times, and once I actually made it into Windows 10 long enough to backup some files on a memory stick. Then, following some advice I saw elsewhere on this site, I decided to do a Factory Reset.

Unfortunately, when I went into Settings, clicked Update, then Recovery, the laptop once again crashed and I wasn't able to reset it. I've seen suggestions about other Asus laptops that you need to press F9 to factory reset the laptop, but in my case, I've pressed every F button (and Delete key) during startup and they do nothing. Windows tries to start up, and I once again get stuck on the loading screen.

I am at a loss. I have no idea what to do next except to keep trying to get to the Desktop, and back into Settings to reset it. Does anyone know of a simpler way? Maybe a way that doesn't involve booting up Windows?
