I'm going to make a pc for the first time. I want a 1050 ti but i dont know what cpu i need to use. Is this allright or do i need a different one?

Solution
If you are going to build a PC from scratch then by all means get a current gen CPU. A good option would be an i3 8100 or a ryzen 3 2200G, but you can go for an i5 8500-8600k or a ryzen 5 2600-2600x if you have enough money. How much can you spend for the whole PC?

There is indeed no point in going with a dead platform like the 7000 series when there is better to be had for a similar price.

The G5600 would only be a good option when paired with a GT 1030... which gets beaten by the 2200G alone.

i3-8100 or Ryzen 3 2200g/1200 would be the correct match for a GTX 1050 TI.

That is of course assuming that this build will be for gaming.

A 2200g apu is a nice choice for what it is.
Probably not a good deal if, in the future ones to buy a stronger discrete graphics card.

If the OP has a budget for a 7600K, then I suspect that he/she is looking at a stronger cpu/gpu combo.
Then, also, is the intended use of this pc. Likely for gaming, but only the OP knows.

The build is indeed for gaming.

But isn't a quad core necessary these days?

Yes, the Ryzen 3 2200g and i3-8100 are both quadcore cpus.
Hexacore is the current standard though and quadcores are considered to be more low end.
