After Windows decided to update my PC to 1709 without my permission for the third time last night, I realized I probably shouldn't just revert back to the previous version and to finally face this issue head-on. Let me explain the issue.
Whenever I've updated to Windows 10 Version 1709, my GPU (GTX 970, EVGA) has shown up in Device Manager as "stopped" because it "has an issue". Re-installation of NVIDIA drivers hasn't solved the issue (it gives me an "display driver isn't working" error whenever sign in again), and I've been trying to install 1803 without much success. I'm unsure of what to do at this point, and would appreciate any help I can get.
