I would choose Corsair K68. It is mechanical, looks good (ornata looks good too) good lightning. And just... It is mechanical. Mechanical keyboards are alot better than membrane keyboards.
Sure it is mechanical, but is mechanical really that much better? If you really think about it what are the advantages of a mechanical keyboard? Could it be that the majority of mechanical keyboards are simply higher quality and are built better? Then it doesn't come down to the fact that they are mechanical, just that they are built better.
The Ornata is also built well, has a fairly low actuation force compared to most membrane keyboards, and has the mechanical click too. I would also like to point out that IBM's model M was a buckling spring mechanical over a membrane. Razer has done that with the Ornata, well a mechanical feeling key over a membrane... no amazing springs though.
Like I said, I chose the Ornata over a bunch of other keyboards and I was willing to spend up to $200. The Ornata just felt the best to type on. When you hear membrane you think of a squishy, cheap keyboard with hard to press keys that you just have to smash down to get them to register. The Ornata is none of that. It is simply a joy to type on. I've taken it apart and nothing on it makes me think "this was built cheaply".
All that said, keyboards are an intensely personal choice. It all depends on what you like. It all depends on how it feels to you. I think that most people would be happy with the Ornata, but there are keyboard snobs out there that think "just because it is mechanical it is better" and the irritating thing is that sometimes they are right, but not about the Ornata. It is just a good keyboard.
