Pcie x16 slot not working

Hi! I've been trying to but my rx 570 into x16 slot but I get no display. Fans spin and pc boots but unless I plug hdmi to mobo or use the card in x4 slot I'lI get no display. My mobo is Asus z370-p

Hi, It might be a bent pin in the CPU socket.

What? CPU works fine, pc boots and all but does not detect the gpu in x16 slot, only in x4.
