The best CPU I have seen on the Veriton X4610G is a Core i7 2600 ( (3.4GHz / 4 cores / 8 threads / 8MB cache)
The i7 has 95W requirement so make sure your system has adequate power and cooling solution to cope with the extra power and heat.
