Hi, so I have few question about this motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus IV GENE-Z/GEN3 . Is it a good motherboard, does it have any major problems? because I found it for a cheap price and It's a Z68 chipset so does it have a bios update so it can support ivy bridge? Also I checked the bios updates on asus site and the latest version only is for windows xp vista 7 and 8 will that be a problem?

I have built several systems and a couple of them still running after 6 years.
It does supports Ivy Bridge since 2012
The last BIOS was released before Windows 10, so that's why it wasn't mentioned. Yes it runs Windows 10 just fine, just let Windows setup and updates take care of it
As you can see it is been around for a while so that might...

I hope is a very good deal... better than getting a recent chipset and the support and advantages that come with it.
