I have MSI's GV62 7RD
its specs include
INTEL I7, 7th Gen
DDR4 8GB
Nvidia GTX 1050
Windows 10

I am trying to extract a 16GB file through Winrar
and it's taking me 6 hours to do it, I read online about winrar and extraction processes
few posts tell me that Extraction is a process where your processor is used extensively
So I have attached few pics, for you to take a look at and tell me if this kind of ETA is normal for an I7 Processor, its sort of disappointing after you buy a netbook which is almost 1000$ and still have to wait 6 hours.
When I bought the netbook it had DOS installed, and I myself installed Windows 10 on it and installed all the drivers provided by MSI afterward, even updated them later.
Thank You!

hahaha, I own a PlayStation 4, I play most games in that physical copies. Only some really old games I download. Nonetheless, you are right, need to give up being a pirate:)
As for the solution It makes sense, what do you suggest I do?

geez okay...
It's not an external drive, Its an Internal HGST Harddisk, which came with the netbook.

Which disk is the operating system on? That will be the fastest disk (if there is more than one drive in the netbook)...hopefully it's an SSD of some sort.

But if that is the only drive on the netbook, you'll just have to wait. Netbooks aren't really made for that kind of workload.

It's not SSD, its HDD 1TB and only one disk, So I have three options either upgrade to SSD or wait or buy the game from steam.
But according to you its nothing abnormal, My PC is working fine, correct?
Seagate's Barracuda is that a good upgrade?

Well it's acting like a really slow flash drive and not an NVME SSD that the product page for that Netbook says it comes with.
Might be worth trying it from the C: drive just to see what happens. Or you could try 7zip to see if it's any better. Otherwise wait 6 hours and call it the price you pay.

As to the other comments, you brought that on yourself by posting that pic.

I'll do what you say, try it from the C drive and checkout 7zip. yeah man, didn't know this community is so severe about pirates. I will buy the game if nothing works out. Thanks a lot for your time, effort and patience. I will keep you guys updated :)

Yes, Tom's Hardware has a strict policy about pirated software. Very strict.

Closing this.
