Hello guys, i just got a PNY GTX 1060 6gb. I was wondering if my I7-3770 is still good in 2018.
My CPU was hitting 90c and even 100c in some cases under gaming (CS:GO) with the Intel Stock cooler (note that my PC has 6 years with me MOBO and CPU mostly), i had a 960 but i sold it.
I was looking at the market and saw a few options, Ryzen 1st and 2nd generation, I5 8400/i5-8600k.
Should i make a new build with my budget or just keep my PC for now? My Asus mobo date is from 2012 and i can't even find the model.
PD: My PSU died and i have 8gb of ddr3 in different frecuencies one at 1600 and one at 1333 but i think both are running at 1333 because of my motherboard and i need a Case (i might go for the NZXT S340 Mid Tower Computer Case, White)
TLDR: Should i keep my old system and buy a PSU, Cooler and a Case or should i go for a new budget build around 600$ without GPU because i have the 1060 6gb with DDR4 Ram
Note: I plan to stream and game at the same time like i do with my current CPU. CS:GO/ PUBG mostly. I have a 144hz monitor. I'm going to be streaming at 720p and playing at 1080p.
Thanks guys <3
