Hi Guys,

I was given a HP Z210 workstation from work. It has E3 1270 Sandy Bridge Xeon, 8GB ram and some good solid specs.

The power supply is from Delta - Model

At first I was going to throw in a GTX 1050 Ti that does not require 6pin connector and call it a day. However, Vthere is a massive jump in performance from 1050ti to 1060, even though its 3GB model it doesnt really concern me as i play alot of old titles and the New Doom.

Anyway, I have as much details on this Power supply. I have attached image of the Amps on each of the 12v rails.

I am a little confused to be honest because the PDF of the power supply advises:

Do not exceed 400 watts of total continuous output power.
Maximum combined current on +12V (CPU,B,S,g) is 33.3A.

However, the V12-G Rail only supports 12.5Amps, this is what the video card uses i believe.

I dont know much on the how this all works. However i can advise that the 10603Gb does work in this PC. I just want to be safe and make sure it is reliable.

Any opinions or recommendations would be appreciated

I would probably get a rated PSU if I were you. Maybe a Seasonic Focus+?

Question from Daniel524 : "Delta PSU ok to Run with this Video Card"

You're good as long as you don't go with any gfx card more demanding than the GTX 1060 and you don't OC anything. The +12v rails have a 400W capacity. More than enough for that system.

The +12VG may be the rails specifically designated for the gfx card. But on most multiple rail PSUs the rails combine their load.
