Hi Everyone,
I have a Cooler Master V650 PSU & a ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING Mother Board, when I plug in the CPU Power Cable (4+4 Pin), I find it was not match with the MB Connector? I can only plug in 4 Pin, another 4 Pin was not the same shape on the MB. I can power up the computer with only plugging in 4 pin and leave the other 4 pin hang there.
I have also try to borrow a 4+4 Pin cpu cable for Cooler Master V1000 PSU from a friend, and the cable was match the MB Connector (all 8 Pin), but the strange thing was I can't power up the computer will all 8 Pin Connected?
So now I'm running the computer with only plugging in 4 out of 8 Pin for CPU Power, will that be causing any problem in long term? or I have done something wrong/ missing something?
Thanks!
