"You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU"

So, I was just set up a new computer, specs: i7-7700 Kabylake, GTX 1050ti Inno3D, ASUS... something I forgot.

The thing is when I try to play GTA V, the game works so slow and lagging a lot (like I don't use GPU at all) which I think my GPU (GTX 1050ti) is good enough for play such games. The other thing is “You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU” always showed up every time I try to access my nVidia control panel. Does it cause the incapability in playing games?

On my CPU, I have 3 ports, DVI, VGA and HDMI (which currently I only plug the VGA cable). Which port should I plug? Is it the DVI, VGA or HDMI? Please help.

here a better representation.
If you use DVI be sure to use the digital one and dont force the connector in. (DVI-D will do good)

You should plug the monitor in the videocard, not in the motherboard. From what i remember the modern videocards does not have VGA or any analog output, only digital (DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort) in this case you have a few solution:
1) if the monitor has Digital input you should use it
2)Monitor does not have digital input then you can use a active digital to analog convertor
3)Monitor does not have digital input change monitor with one which has digital input

P.S: Everything is lagging because you are running on integrated videocard and not on the gtx 1050 ti.

Under the yellow cable you got a hdmi output, use the hdmi output because i can see that monitor has also hdmi input.
Also for future reference what is under the yellow cable adn the sound cable is the dedicated videocard, what is up from the yellow cable between the usb and ps2 port is the integrated videocard, always use the dedicated videocard.

Both are digital signals, so doesnt matter.

You may want to do it when the computer is shutdown, as the gpu might be disabled as you were plugged into the integrated graphics.
