i have i3-6100 cpu and gtx 1060 gpu. i had 750ti and for an example i could play farcry5 on low with stable 50fps, but now that i have the 1060 the game runs on unstable 25fps on low and ultra.

is it the cpu or the fps shouldn't be worse?

i deleted drivers with ddu and instaled the newest, and i have 600W power supply.

1600:900 which is the one i always use on fullscreen.

and the performance is the same on windowd.

If you go to devive manager do you see the gtx 1060, maybe the driver is installed incorrectly? You could try to reinstall it again or install an older driver.

You can use MSI afterburner to check the temperature and also check if the gpu is running 100% or not, also make sure you check the cpu usage, maybe the i3 is somehow running 100% and therefor bottleneckig. It is possible that swapping the gpus changed something in your system.

in the device manager i see only the 1060 under display adapters.

i installed the drivers couple of times via geforce or manualy. and i did try older drivers.

here is the gpu while im in game: https://imgur.com/gallery/NhUP15Z

and do you want me to look at the cpu in task manager-performance?

Is that part where the CPU cores go to 100% while the GPU drops to around 5% happening while the game is running? And what kind of CPU temperatures are happening at this time? I'm just wondering if the CPU is overheating, causing it to thermal throttle. If you find the temperatures are high (like around 90C), you should verify that the CPU cooler's fan is spinning, and make sure the cooler is properly secured in place. If it's the stock cooler, one or more of the push pins that secure the cooler to the motherboard might have come loose, or you could have detached the fan cable while installing the new card.

ive noticed that the only games that i can play are games that require atleast on minimum specs a duel core cpu(i have i3 6100)

its like the cpu is over taking the gpu but not excluding it.

any ideas on that?

Check that your cooler is still functioning correctly, as evidenced by looking at HWMonitor while running anything stressful.

Failing that, you've botched some drivers somewhere....

Remove all gpu related references from device mngr, and reboot....

Before fighting a 10 hour battle to avoid a 10-20 minute reinstall, consider the reinstall....

i did a reset for my windows 10 and it fixed my problem.

and i have a small problem i hope someone could help.

i chose to keep files at the reset, but it deleted most of the files. now some games and programs that i cant acces still take space.

is there any easy way to delete them all properly, rather than one by one?
