I have a GIGABYTE Z370 HD3 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 (300 Series) Mobo. I've recently purchased an EVGA CLC 280 Liquid / Water CPU Cooler. I currently have 3 case fans that came with my Corsair 750D case. Since my Mobo only has 3 fan headers, I think I'll have to install a Y splitter in order to operate all three case fans. I checked my mobo manual and it doesn't specify how many amps the fan headers are rated for. Similarly, I don't know how many amps the 140mm case fans that came with my case draw. Will I be safe connecting two 140mm fans to my mobo using a Y splitter?

Solution
According to your case specification, fans included are Corsair AF140L which use 0.1 A, so it's no problem at all to connect 2 of them to single header. You could even connect 5 of them without problem.
