Hello. Yesterday I overclocked I7 6800K to 4.1ghz and ram to 2600 mhz. My mobo is sabertooth X99 and components are about 1 year old. While using my pc image froze and had to reboot system. Nothing showed up.. I connected my phone via TUF software to mobo and it says Cmos error.
I tried also to flash newest bios with usb flashback and nothing happends. I took out cmos battery and unplugged computer over night, still same. Is is my motherboard that is dead or maybe cpu?

D6 is no VGA I think.
I've seen this strange error before and uninstalling the RAM and re-installing one at a time might fix it.
Try clearing your CMOS after removing your GPU too (use on board graphics obvs).
Long shots but worth a go before burying it in the back garden next to the cat.
Good luck.
