yesterday my VGA led went on, and I have no display. That was with a MSI Z270 A PRO. With that motherboard, I took off the GPU (1070 ti), Tried another GPU (1050) tried both sticks of ram, one stick of ram (used both sticks for one at a time), took out CMOS battery. Took off ssd. Tried putting in components one at a time, but VGA light was still on. Nothing worked, even with CPU out VGA light was still on.
I Got another motherboard after MSI support said it was probably the motherboard. This one is a MSI Z270 SLI. Before I installed the motherboard, I set it up, and VGA light is on. Repeated all the same steps, and still VGA light is on.

Not sure what is going on, would have imagined if it was the motherboard it would work when I got a new one, still pretty new to building computers.
(also LED is bright white, however in most other fourms LED's are red, not sure if it is just white for MSI or what)
