Computer no longer boots past Bios and I feel like all hope (and money) is lost

Hello all, I have a reoccurring issue that I just can't seem to solve. My computer has all of a sudden not been able to boot past the bios splash screen and start up the OS and I'm not sure if it's a component problem or not.

These are my specs:
Gigabyte Z170X-UD3
Crucial Ballistix 32GB
EVGA 980 Ti
Corsair AX860
Corsair H100i

The problem first occurred when I had the Gigabyte Z170X-UD5. I'll of a sudden, the computer would turn off arbitrarily and restart and I'd have to just log back in. Then, it got to a point where it wouldn't boot past the bios at all and I had no access to my operating system, then I was finally not able to get into the bios and the motherboard would continue a boot loop. Before the dreaded boot loop, I removed the ssd and it operated perfect on another system, I tried booting with one stick of ram, I cleared the CMOS, and I tried booting it without the gpu.. And now, I have the same problem with a different motherboard (I can get in to the bios, though).. I'm just out sure where to go from here. Everything just stopped working all of a sudden.

Any ideas? I don't want to buy all new components and I don't have another test bench to individually try other components in.

I don't think it's the sad because the ssd works fine on other systems and I cannot even get windows to boot from a USB. I'm not sure what could be wrong, though. Everything just stopped working over the course of about a week.
