Game Audio Sound Wierd When Record Gameplay

Hmmm, well, nothing stood out as weird for me. What are you using to record gameplay with and is your audio device driver updated?

Just by chance you're using OBS, which is probably the most common to both record and stream with, then there are MANY audio filter options you can use as plugins for OBS. Reaper makes ones specifically for OBS, and they are said to be very good. However they are pretty complex to use.

Note that most streamers use a mic, and they are notorious for picking up room sounds. If the weird noise you're referring to is a slight echo sound, that's what it is. The cheapest way to solve such problems is enable any high pass or low pass filters your mic may have to remove unwanted low or high frequencies it picks up. However if you're not doing any commentary or voice chat while gaming, just turn the mic off while recording.

Other solutions to mic noise include moving it closer to you if using a stand one vs headset by using an articulating mic boom, and putting a foam wind guard over it. If you look on Amazon you will find them for as little as $15 for both. Reaper also has a compressor filter, which basically cancels out unwanted noise from your mic.

I just answered a similar question in a thread that has links to Reaper plugins.

Describe what's strange about the sound to you? I've never seen that game before so I don't know how it's supposed to sound. In that 2nd vid you just posted the only slight thing I noticed was the gun fire sounds a bit echoy, not as bad as you'd hear in a tunnel, maybe more like a corridor.

I really don't know if it's supposed to sound that way though. Check your system sound settings and make sure you don't have any environmental effects enabled in the W10 sound panel and in your sound device's (Realtek, etc) sound panel. There's also an option in the W10 sound panel to "Disable all sound effects".
