Hey guys! I need help with my ssd . I have in my computer samsung 128gb ssd and 1tb hdd , when I bought like 1 year ago my pc I had only battlefront 1 (game). My gaming loading speed was good but now that isn't. I dont know is it because I have bought couple new games or what but I though to buy an new ssd which is nvme 250gb or 500gb. I would like to buy an 250 gb ssd but I don't know is it enough for me. I just want to know what the difference is with (250gb ssd) or (500gb ssd)? Is 500gb ssd faster than 250 or what?

I'm grateful if you help me with this :).

Before buying a new drive, make sure your SSD has at least 1 quarter of its space free, in order to achieve max speed. Provided your motherboard does support M.2 at X4 speed, you can install an nvme drive. I'm not sure if you want to use it to store large games though, as its advantage is its speed. Because of the way SSDs are manufactured, the 500gb drive may have a slight, unnoticeable advantage in terms of speed. Evaluate your needs and get a drive depending on your budget and needs, as the drives will perform the same in games.

You can get away with up to 10 small to average modern games installed on a 250 GB SSD on top of your system files and your usual moderately space consuming apps, but ideally if you're aiming for some serious gaming you'd like to have a 500GB system SSD which has slight performance edge over the 250 GB, preferably an M.2 NVMe SSD with transfers over PCIe 3.0x4 if supported by your motherboard and your budget allows it.

10?
Some games are 60-75GB...over 100GB if you include DLC.

That doesn't go far in 250GB.
