Use external Optane M.2 via Thunderbolt 3 port to super-accelerate Win10 with ReadyBoost??

Suppose you have a thunderbolt 3 port. You can plug in an external box with m.2 slots, such as the Netstor NA611TB3. But Intel has announced M.2 drives using Optane, 3d Xpoint memory that's super fast, suppose you put those in the Netstor? And I see that the old "ReadyBoost" feature is still around, supported in win10. Could all of these be combined to supercharge a PC?
