So it all started last week Friday when windows forced an update. Went through with it then started experiencing a whole lot of freeze ups where the only solution I had was to restart every time it happened. This went on for the weekend. I had enough of it then decided to roll back to the previous update that worked for me

What do you know no more freezing it worked perfectly only one problem I couldn't access the internet now.
I used the troubleshooter to try fix it n got hit with "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration."

I tried resetting router, restarting the PC
Moved onto using cmd commands Ipconfig/release, renew, reset, flushdns. So much of them that I've lost count, none of them worked.

I tried uninstall/reinstalling the Ethernet drivers that didn't work.
Looked at tons YouTube videos on this none worked.
Im also trying avoid doing a fresh install of Windows.

Honestly at this point I'm just hoping Somebody on here might have an idea and can maybe help me out in some way. Thanks

Tl;dr: Windows update screwed me over rolled back. now i can't use Internet.
