RAM: HyperX Fury Black 4GB DDR4 2400MHz CL15 x2
GPU: Asus GeForce Gtx 1060 Dual OC 6GB DDR5 192-bit
PSU: Corsair VS Series VS650, 80+, 650W
CPU: Intel Coffee Lake Core i5 8600 3.1GHz
Motherboard: ASUS EX-H310M-V3
SSD: 238GB ADATA SU800 (Bought, not included in budget)
HDD: WD Blue 500GB SATA-III 7200 RPM 32MB (Bought, not included in budget)
I will use my old case.

Im new to building pc's and I have a strict budget (860 euro). I added the 650w psu just to be safe, but can a 550w psu sustain everything? Asking to see if I can fit i5 8600k in the build.

Solution
Hi dopperrottery,

You build is pretty well balanced.
The only thing to change is the PSU.
The Corsair VS Series is not a "gaming" quality one and can damage your build if it dies...
With your build you can go for a 450W easily (no overclock and not an high end graphics card)

You can look for seasonic or corsair CX serie.
