New keyboard doesn't work in bios/startup

Hi, recently bought a new keyboard but this one doesn't work in the bios/startup, while the old keyboard I used before does work, checked every usb ports, used same ports. I have seen this problem before but never occurred on my hardware. Any ideas on what's up?
