Should I buy a headset keyboard and mouse in a combo with a 40$ budget?

I am wondering is it worth buying a headset keyboard and mouse in a bundle if i am on a about 40$ budget because some reviews i have seen say that usually certain keys don't work or one side of the headset don't work or should I but them all by themselves?
Any suggestions on what to buy?

If that's all you can afford then it doesn't really appear that you have any other choices. While it's not going to be the best peripheral set it should work fine for now until you can afford something better.
